Drop Testing

AS 4685.0:2017, 8.5.6 

Regular testing of impact attenuating surfaces includes:

• As a minimum, unitary surfacing shall be tested in accordance with AS 4422 every three years.
• Loose-fill surfaces do not need to be impact-attenuation tested on a regular basis provided:

1. 1. the generic product typically conforms with the requirements of AS/NZS 4422 when tested; and
   2. the loose-fill material has been installed to a minimum depth of 300 mm and maintained so that it never drops below 200 mm.
